The Experiential Programme
Community, mentorship and a supportive partner practice programme form the foundation of this impactful professional experience.
This programme is intensive.
It is experiential.
And it is transformative.
Join us for all the guidance, paperwork and experiential training you need to craft a highly professional, ethical and SUSTAINABLE online practice that you LOVE.
We review and assess continuously so we can move beyond competency to develop mastery in our online practice.
When the Covid-19 lockdown came into effect, you may have realised that although you completed hours and hours of webinars and self study, you were not completely convinced that distance therapy was for you.
You might still feel that Telehealth is the poor cousin of In Person Therapy, despite it having gained legitimacy amongst practitioners and clients alike. You're dreading more Zoom calls, staring at the bright screen and squishing yourself into the corner of the spare room. Maybe you are itching to get back in the therapy room with clients even though you wish you could learn to love working online.
I remember that feeling! I moved from London to Paris in 2012 and kept my fledgling practice going from the kitchen of my tiny studio, with glitchy internet and a fridge in the background.
My supervisor gently suggested more training and after an experiential course, I have never looked back. Experiential training is what changed everything for me and that is what inspired me to support other practitioners in their discovery of how online therapy can exponentially benefit both the Therapist and the Client.
I now love working online and I've found a way to work as a therapist that totally suits me. I didn't know a better way for me to do therapy existed until I did this course.
This course gave me so much more than I could have thought. Thanks Tamara, for the most wonderful experience I have had in a course.
We connect you for four individual part practice sessions as a therapist and four role playing a client.
The weekly video curriculum is supported by interactive workshops with Tamara and alumni support calls.
The most cohesive and collaborative professional group I have ever taken part of, hands down!
Tutorials, discussions, an editing megasession and passion for paperwork are all included.
It's pretty beautiful, if I do say so myself! It's sleek, clean, clear and full of useful checklists and prompts.
The Lottie group is the first place we all ask for referral support, network with each other and build our practices.
I am an Integrative Psychotherapist in Private Practice based in London and Paris. I have been providing online and telephone therapy for over 10 years and love working this way!
I am passionate about supporting therapists who are discovering the value of their therapeutic skills in the online sphere, encouraging them to expand the edges of their comfort zones in a safe and secure way and truly learn how to enjoy distance therapy.
Thanks for joining me!

Welcome... Please have a look around and drop me a line if I can help with any resources.
The curriculum focuses on a different stage of the Intake process each week so that by the end of the programme, we feel proficient, experienced and confident in our Policies and Procedures.
We organise our audiovisual setup in our physical and online spaces so that we can enjoy our workspace.
We prepare scripts and templates within our enquiry procedures to streamline our processes.
We write, discuss, script and share our verbal and written Online Therapy Contracts.
We learn how to guide our clients in creating their Therapy Corner so they feel safe, secure and comfortable.
We put a Risk Procedure in place in order to make sure our clients access an appropriate level of care.
We consider and expand skills that are specifically called for in other forms of distance therapy.
We practise short Screening and Assessment calls using role play scenarios and feedback forms.
We practise full length Intake Appointments in Partner Practice and reflect and review together.
We learn about setting up groups online and participants host workshops within the programme.
CLARITY
We develop clarity through creating and editing our Online Therapy Contracts, examining the ethical nature of contracting and through personal review.
CONGRUENCE
We research the efficacy of online and telephone therapy so that we can be congruent in our practice with clients. We challenge Imposter Syndrome and define our Private Practice Vision.
CONFIDENCE
We track our confidence and build it through partner practice, feedback and review. We create a supportive, generous and functional peer group and referral network.
*A Lottie is a name we use for therapists who enrol in this programme and learn to love online therapy!
This is a fantastic course for any counsellor or psychotherapist who is working online, particularly if you're not enjoying it yet.
The course is great fun! Tamara is incredibly supportive, patient, generous and extremely knowledgeable.
I loved the way the course was structured. Each element linked into the other. Tamara's style of teaching is engaging, interactive and generous.
If you are approaching burnout and feel like looking at a screen exhausts you much more than working in person, I would love to support you in creating a professional support plan. Some of this is about scheduling and setup, but also it's important to understand the technological challenges such as audio delay and the impact that has on trust and fulfilment.
Learn to Love Online Therapy creates an opportunity for us to consider together which parts of your online experience are energising and engaging for you and which parts need adapting, or even removing. We start from the ground up, crafting an online mindset and building confidence through experience, practice, research and implementation.
The Lottie family has become a participant led community with referrals, networking and inter and intra cohort support calls meaning you have an in built support system waiting for you when you graduate.
ARE YOU A LOTTIE?
THE FEE AND COURSE STRUCTURE MAY CHANGE BUT JUST TO GIVE YOU AN IDEA, THIS WAS THE INVESTMENT FOR COHORT 5.

We practise networking calls with each other for the purposes of support and referral.
We critique video demonstrations together and discuss anonymous client accounts.
We gently explore contributing factors in order to shift our mindset to trust in our online skillset.
We write our website homepages and directory listings and share with each other for feedback.
We define our ideal personal and professional life, and map out our path towards it using a workbook.
